Learn: ​​This robotic camp program explores the basics of  Lego Mindstorm NXT Robotics.  Students will learn how to build a strong and functional robot base while utilizing multiple attachments.  They will also learn basic programming functions in order to program their robot to perform various tasks on the First Lego League competition board.  Students will work in teams of four to design, build and program their robots.  They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.

To level-up the reading skill, we will explore the fascinating world of literature monsters that are with different sizes, powers, and personalities. Students will create a personal monster story that may be better than a Disney one! Studying and analyzing complex characters as “monsters” can be beneficial to deepen understanding of the literature context and writing techniques.
