AM. Young 3D Artist - Sea Sculptures and more
In this camp, the students will learn knowledge of three-dimensional forms and painting techniques. The students will learn about three-dimensionality and important elements in sculpture, starting from making an armature and how to make something that is freestanding. The project will be from jellyfish to whales, students will explore the exciting underwater world!
The student will learn:
- the basics of 3D sculpture, as well as creature design
- how to create 3D models of mystical creatures
- how to use textures and materials to bring them to life.
PM. Watercolor - Underwater creatures
Students will learn a variety of watercolor painting techniques as they create their own underwater scenes! Students will explore underwater creatures from the familiar tropical fish to sea turtles. Students will be exposed to a variety of seascapes and their inhabitants, which will become the main source of inspiration for these projects.
The student will learn:
- the fundamentals of watercolor painting as they explore the bright and vibrant ocean life
- how to mix and blend colors to create realistic underwater scenes.
- how to use washes, dry brush techniques, and wet on wet effects to bring their art to life.
- how to create the illusion of depth in their paintings by adding details like light reflections, shadows, and light ripples
- how to capture the beauty of underwater creatures, like fish, dolphins, and jellyfish, by focusing on facial features and color combinations.
