AM: Game Design with Scratch
With the support of Scratch technology, an educational visual block coding tool, is great for early elementary students to understand the concept of programming. This course will be engaging and with structured exercises to teach step-by-step game development.
*ScratchJr is a collaboration between the DevTech Research Group at Tufts University, the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab, and the Playful Invention Company.
Students will learn:
- Scratch skills to build animated games

PM. Stage Presence: Mini Musical Theater
Musical Theater is a fun way to develop confidence, group work, coordination, cooperation, public speaking, and performance! Whew, all that! Students will read and memorize short lines of dialogue.
Mini Musical Theater Campers will:
- Learn the basics of proper breathing
- Learn how to develop their characters and make them unique
- Design and create masks for their characters
- Learn about voice types and proper children’s singing technique
