AM. Rock Climbing (Triangle Rock Club)
Rock Climbing Rock climbing is about upward mobility, challenging oneself and facing obstacles. It’s also a fun way to keep fit. Campers will learn about using the equipment and how to climb safely. Kids love to climb and indoor rock climbing will give them new challenges, encourage teamwork and build self-confidence. Champion Education is proud to partner with our neighbors at Triangle Rock Club! Students will Learn: A fun way to build their strength hand-eye coordination
Your child will learn:
- the proper safety techniques for rock climbing, including belaying, rappelling, and tying knots.
- understand terminology related to rock climbing, such as anchor, crack, crimp and chimney
- proper foot placement and use of body mechanics for more efficient and enjoyable climbing.
- recognize different holds and how to properly use them.
- develop effective tactics for varying types of climbing, bouldering, and lead climbing
- understand how to choose the correct type and size of climbing equipment to use
PM. Improv Basics for Kids
Improv Basics for Kids is an exciting introduction to the fundamentals of improvisational theater. Through fun and interactive activities, children will develop performance skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities. With guidance from experienced instructors, kids will learn the basic rules of improvisation, as well as build confidence and explore their own creativity.
