Week 3  a.m. - Creative Nonfiction + p.m. - Portrait Drawing
Creative nonfiction (a.m.)
  • ​The students will spend time creating creative nonfiction in a constructive, supportive atmosphere. 
  • Students write and read every day and gain a new appreciation for what it is to not only write, but write well. 
  • During this camp, we will encourage writers to share, demonstrate step-by-step how to complete each strategy; allow students time to use the strategy with chosen or assigned topics, and share their ideas as well. 
Portrait Drawing (p.m.)
​ The teacher takes you step by step through the process, starting with drawing exercises to warm up, sketching proportional facial features, adding detail with tones and shadows, to creating texture with line work. By the end of this week, you will be able to draw realistic and captivating portraits from scratch.

Week 5  a.m. - News Reporting and Writing Camp + p.m. Portrait Painting: Oil

News Reporting and Writing Camp ( a.m.)
  • ​ While the ways in which the American public consumes news are constantly evolving, new and digital media have created a huge demand for high-quality content. News Reporting and Writing Camp are here for our students who interested to try being journalists. 
  • In this camp, students will develop and build upon their ability to write clearly and concisely, research and gather information, think and read critically, ask critical questions, examine the evidence, and analyze text for bias.
Portrait Painting: Oil (p.m.)
​Teach the students the fundamentals of portrait painting with oil. After direct instruction and guided practice, students will have a chance to paint a portrait and offer classmates constructive feedback on their work.
After this lesson, students will be able to analyze ,describe , interpret and judge characteristics of portrait painting
follow a step-by-step process of painting a portrait & participate in a productive peer critique

Watercolor Painting (p.m.)
​Objectives:
  • Gain knowledge about the watercolor medium that will help them in future art lessons.
  • Students will explore the medium of watercolor paints. 
  • Students will create watercolor painting techniques (wet-on-wet) and how to enhance that technique with salt, crayon resist and blotting. They will also reinforce their knowledge of color theory by color mixing and complimentary colors.
  • -Experience and perceive the qualities of watercolor paints

Sharpen your skills in Adobe Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and InDesign CC, discovering how to manipulate digital images and create vector graphics for logos and brand packages. Explore color and design theory to communicate your message to the masses!
Mixed Media (p.m.)
  • ​This is a fun class for mixed media art collage making .This class is for all ages. The students can use different paints, inks and  other varieties of materials. 
  • In this Mixed Media lesson, students will create a mixed media collage using a variety of materials.

​Animation

Discover the core concepts of animation production through workshops on character design, drawing motions, timing, syncing, and cleanup. Design your animations using both a computer and drawing tablet to practice computer-based and hands-on techniques.
3D Design (p.m.)
​Sculpture explorations & creations your students will love!

The students will understand that 3D sculpture is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. Sculpture is the three-dimensional art work which is physically presented in the dimensions of height, width and depth. It is one of the plastic arts. Durable sculptural processes originally used carving (the removal of material) and modelling (the addition of material,) such as clay, stone, metal, ceramics, wood and other materials . Since Modernism, there has been an almost complete freedom of materials and process, the sculpture can be made out of stone, wood, clay or any other material the students wishes to use. A wide variety of materials may be worked by removal such as carving, assembled by welding ,modelling, molded ,or casting.

This week, the sculptures can be made with wood, clay, awesome Plastic Recycling, or by piecing materials together.

Week 9  a.m. Sci-Fi Writing + p.m. Digital Painting
Sci-Fi Writing (A.m.)
​Sci-Fi Writing
  • In this camp, the students will hone their writing skills while creating a science fiction story.  They will be Introduced to Sci-Fi and Brainstorming, drafting, and building the World, they will make character creation, plot development, and story structure within a futuristic sci-fi universe created by the learners. 
Digital Painting (p.m.)
​Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a graphics tablet, stylus, and software.
  • The students will explore the world of digital art and its exciting range of creative tools, empower them to create their own paintings, while getting inspiration from a range of other artists. 
  • This lesson introduces learners to a range of line and shape tools, and revisits the fill and undo tools used for digital painting. Learners will create their own digital painting in the style of an artist.
