​Champion All in One (Age 5 - 7) summer camp program, with various subjects and concepts that matter to youth mental and physical development, offers a great opportunity to seek kids' favorite subject of study, build social connection with peers and adults, and satisfying their curiosity.

Each Camp is a combine of two categories of study/activities:

Besides, the unparalleled Champion Art, this summer we partner with the successful local STEAM schools and Sports Centers for bringing the best summer camp experience to parents that trust and support our growth.


WEEK 1 - a.m. Golf + p.m. Pottery Painting
Date: June 15 - 19, 2020
Category: Sports & Art

GOLF (9AM - 12PM)
Suggested Packing List:
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen*optional
  • Mosquito Repellent *optional
  • Hat/cap
*Golfing supplies including and water will be provided for outdoor practice.  
*Must arrive at Champion before 8:30 am each morning.
Once the Champion bus leaves for the destination, you are responsible to send your child to the sports center. Call 919-388-1739 for emergency
POTTERY PAINTING (1 - 4PM)
Learn:
  • To make 3D functional art
  • To design patterns on daily objects
  • The making of pottery
Bring home with:
  • Mugs and other daily objects​

WEEK 2 - a.m. Science + p.m. Mosaic Art
Date: June 22 - 26

SCIENCE bY SCIENCE FUN(9AM - 12PM)
Learn: ​This Science Fun program is totally FUN, totally hands-on and totally participatory for each student:
Chemical Concoctions, Buggy Biology, Wacky Weather, Ocean AdvenShores, Cosmic Quest, etc.
Upon completion of the field trip, students receive a cool science certificate and all programs provide create-and-keep experiments.
MOSAIC ART (1PM - 4PM)
Learn:
  • To express ideas by the assemblage of small pieces of colored glass, stone, or other materials
  • To appreciate and create decorative art as an interior decoration; use as such for colorful buildings and garden courtyards
Bring home with:
  • Mosaic Painting on paper
  • Mosaic colorful glasses on the tile, wood, and mugs

WEEK 3 - a.m. Robotic + p.m. Printmaking
Date: June 29 - July 3

ROBOTIC by robotic camp cary (9AM - 12PM)

Learn: This program explores the  basics of  Lego Mindstorm NXT Robotics.  Students will learn how to build a strong and functional robot base while exploring the concepts of motion, force and the transfer on energy.  They will also learn basic programming functions in order to program their robot to perform various tasks.   Because this is a junior program, the campers will also enjoy building with Lego bricks to create a theme based set for their robotic counter parts.  They will also build friendships though various team work exercises designed to encouraging leadership and cooperation through out the week.

PRINTMAKING (1PM - 4PM)
Learn:
  • To design and print their own editions
  • To experiment with monoprinting, and explore exciting image making methods such as relief, block printing; with Linoleum and foam
Bring home with:
  • Design on paper
  • Design on print materials
*Safety guide & training will be provided before pointy tools operation.
WEEK 4 - a.m. Chess + p.m. 3D Printing/Production Design
Date: July 6 - 10, 2020

CHESS (9AM - 12PM)
A professional curriculum will be provided and geared toward individual levels and experiencing why chess is fun at Champion! Champion Chess program is well integrated with the Digital Chess Simulation Games and Practices.

3D PRINTING/ PRODUCTION DESIGN (1PM-4PM)
Learn:
  • To use 3D design software to build up 3D modeling
  • 3D Printer machine learning

WEEK 5 - a.m. Fencing + p.m. Painting & Drawing

Fencing (9AM - 12PM)

Location: Mid-south Fencers Club
Fencing is the sport that trains one to be in control of his/her success or failure. It strengthens abilities as it sculpts mental focus with hand-eye coordination, resulting in extremely low injury rates. Due to our Partnership with Mid-South Fencers Club, we offer the exciting, dynamic Olympic and Paralympic sport of fencing for students ages 5 and up in the Research Triangle of North Carolina.

*All fencing supplies will be provided.
*Must arrive at Champion before 8:30 am each morning.

PAINTING & DRAWING (1PM - 4PM)
Learn:
  • To create projects using any object that students will like, and any shades of color they can imagine, along with funny compositions that never exist in this world
  • To improve motion skills and creative thinking
Bring home with:

WEEK 6 - AM. Coding + PM. Fiber Art

CODING - the coder school (9AM - 12PM)
Learn:
​
Ever wanted to learn to code and make your own games? Get started this summer! We'll be using cool drag n' drop languages to create some cool action games! Kids will customize their games by bringing in their favorite animation character or other sprites to move around. Along the way, learn the basics of programming (such as sequence, loops, variables, cloning and conditions).
*Required Supply

Chromebook/Windows/Mac laptop and mouse for this camp.

Learn:
  • To work with knitting and cutting
  • To Learn different kinds of fiber and textures as the  element of art
  • To create fabric art, practice projects such as Mexican Huichol yarn art, design unique Totem Animals yarn paintings

WEEK 7 - a.m. Tennis + p.m. Clay

​We provide an exciting, safe environment for kids to learn the game of tennis through skill building activities.

CLAY (1PM-4PM)

  • To make a variety of projects such as bowls, plates, cups, vases, etc.
  • To develop motor skills and senses
  • To follow clay making rules and discipline
  • Sculpting skills

  • Colored clay objects using child-safe materials
WEEK 8 - a.m. Story Book Making + p.m. Found Object Sculpture 
Date: August 3 - 7, 2020

STORY BOOK MAKING (9AM - 12PM)
Learn:
  • To create their own storybooks by using pencils, ink, and colors
  • To make book covers, binding, designing at least two characters, with at least a 4 pages comic strip

FOUND OBJECT SCULPTURE (1PM-4PM)
Learn:
  • To rethink the functions of usual objects seen in our surroundings
